Video Director / Producer

Dameon GayleDameon was born in St Andrews, Jamaica, he grew up listening to different genres of music, i.e. gospel, rock, R &B and reggae, but at age 14, it was the 90’s hit “Rally Back” by Super Cat that really peak his interest in music. During his high school days at Jamaica College he would play drums on the desktops and sing the songs of Beenie Man and Bounty Killer to entertain his classmates. At 16, he was introduced to the church and gravitated to the music department where he thought himself to play the drums, keyboard and bass guitar. Armed with hours of practice, Dameon then joined a local band playing keyboards and performing with the likes of Bob Andy, Ken Boothe, Fantan Mojah, Ward 21, Zoom Jay among others.

Dameon was later introduced to music production software by his good friend guitarist Courtland “Gizmo” White and that was when this talented producer was born. He spent countless hours learning to make beats and building riddims, and his love for music caused him to quit his job as an electronic technician to become a fulltime producer and audio engineer. Dameon knew times would be hard as a fulltime producer but his passion for music was so great that he had to settle for an unsure life in the music industry. As a way of getting exposure and recognition he started Warriors Musick Production (WMP) in 2005 and produced his first riddim compilation called “Warriors with Artist”.

Dameon has since made a name for himself in the reggae industry by working with a number of established artistes such as Luciano, Fantan Mojah, Busy Signal, Duane Stephenson, Lutan Fyah, Konshens, Devano, Sir Ford, Hallow Point, Anthony B, Turbulance , Cali P, Wasp, and many more. He has produced a number of singles and riddim compilation cds – “Fresh Medz”, “Think Twice”, “Duplicity”. Dameon has been very busy working on multiple projects whether it is producing tracks of videos, most notably “Gun Shot A Fire” which is featured in “Grand Theft Auto V” and has also produced most of the tracks on Luciano’s “Write My Name” album. He is currently putting the finishing touches on Devano and Sir Ford’s albums. To date, Dameon is involved in audio engineering and video production and has produced numerous music videos under Warriors’ Films Productions.
